A PEAK INSIDE THE MIND OF THE WOG

The Wog's father is in charge of her nightly bedtime routine, which consists of a potty stop, toothbrushing and flossing (The Wog does love to floss), 2-3 stories, a tucking in, and the words, "Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite."

For the past couple of months we've been going to sleep with The Wog in her own bed and waking up with her in ours. She has mastered the act of sneaking in so quietly that we don't immediately wake up and return her to her room. We haven't been quite sure what brings her to our room, and she's ignored our questions when we've asked.

Earlier this evening The Wog was playing bedtime with two of her dolls, Angelina Ballerina and "Snoofy." She placed them on their "beds" on the floor of the bathroom, covered them up, and whispered, "Good night. Sleep tight. Don't let the bed bugs bite." She then turned off the light, closed the door, paused, and quickly opened it back up again to add, "And don't let the monsters get you!"
