SPIDERDOODLE, SPIDERDOODLE, DOING WHATEVER A SPIDERDOODLE DOES

If he looks like he's up to something, it's entirely because he is.

A brief stop to admire the flowers...

Then he's on the move:

Great climbing form!

He made it!

But he's not stopping there...

Look how hard his little arms are working:

A quick glance below and then...

...onwards and upwards!

We're totally going to find him on our ceiling one of these days.

(Alas, he can't shoot web out of his palms...yet.)

WOGSANA BAIUL

The Wog started in the "Learn to Skate" (AKA: the Crate Club) program this morning at our local ice skating rink. She loved every minute of it, and Marc had to drag her off the ice with promises of a hot pretzel.

WOGERINA BARBIE

The Wog has been watching all of the Barbie ballet movies, and she can't wait to show off her moves (ballet and otherwise--even a little kung fu judging by a few of these) in class each week. I finally managed to bring my camera and snuck into the back of the classroom.

The Wog has a certain dramatic flair:

She got some serious air during this class:

Enamored of the teacher:

More air:

Doing their "ballet":

They were pretending to be soldiers. Robotic soldiers, apparently:

She spotted me at one point, but kept right on dancing:

Leaping!

Tapping away:

"Come on, ride the train!"

The Wog and her friend Lily are enjoying their reflections:

Watching the other dancers have a turn:

I didn't intentionally shoot this picture so The Wog would be clear and the other dancers a blur...I wish I knew how to do that!

SHORN

The Doodle's father insisted on giving him his first haircut tonight. (I've been clinging to the curls, but the constant hair-in-his-eyes was killing Marc.)

Clearly, The Doodle himself is delighted by the new 'do, and that's all the matters, right? Right? RIGHT?

WOGGYPUTIANS

More pictures sent to us from The Wog's teachers:

"Peg work" with Morgan:

And Polly's absolutely favorite work: "nut work." I swear some days she just grinds nuts from morning to dismissal. We went to the grocery store tonight and passed a display of nuts; she was so excited! (It takes very little to please The Wog.)

JAMMY TO THE LEFT, JAMMY TO THE RIGHT; YOU CAN HAVE A PARTY IN YOUR DREAMS TONIGHT!

The Doodle had a Pajama Playdate this morning with his cute little friend Phoebe. (You should see this girl dance!) Here they are working together with one toy. Look how hard they both are concentrating!

Zeroing in....

...on Piglet!

Next time I'll bust out the real vacuum cleaner and get a clean house out of the deal!

Chilling on the green chair. Phoebs has the world's best scowl!

(The new YouTube Phenomenon: Two Kids One Comb.)

Working a trade:

But mostly they played together very nicely:

Bubbles are always a hit!

THE DOODLE AND NOTHING BUT THE DOODLE

How could you not want to kiss this ink-smeared, booger-crusted, tomato paste-covered face?

(Our household is currently hopelessly deadlocked in a "To Cut or Not To Cut" War for the future of The Doodle's hair.)
