SHE'S GOT A LOT TO SEE, SHE'S GOT A LOT TO DO...

For the past several days The Wog has been fascinated with a kid's television program called Oobi. Here she is, watching the eponymous Oobi, Grandpoo and Uma:

The Wog has been busy lately, learning new words and phrases. One of her favorite new exclamations is, "I did it!" Usually she'll say this after she successfully buckles herself into her highchair. Usually before we head downstairs from her bedroom, I'll ask The Wog, "Do you want to walk, or do you want me to carry you?" She always emphatically responds, "Carry YOU!" We've been trying to determine whether she thinks there's actually a difference between "carry me" and "carry you." She also tells us quite clearly when it's time for bed. Her sleep schedule has been off slightly for the past few weeks so it's hard to know when she might feel like a little nap; the other day we got to the library at our usual time and she was dragging her feet on the way in. I told her, "It's Storytime!" and she instantly responded, "It's Sleepytime!"
