CATCHING UP WITH THE WOG

It's hard to believe it's already March and that The Wog is now 16.5 months old. She's getting to be a big Wog! She's gaining more and more words and signs every day. Her current favorite is "ball." When's she's "reading" a book, she'll immediately flip to the page with the ball on it (or any kind of circle--oranges, etc.), and immediately begin signing and saying, "Bah. Bah." She also says car ("cah"), dog ("dah"), cat ("cah"). We joke that she's already got a New England accent. Her old favorites remain--duck and quack, both of which sound like "cuk"--and new additions include "shicken" (chicken) and "chissssss" (cheese).

Yesterday I was unpacking our bedroom (the unpacking just moved upstairs; I'm behind, obviously) and turned my back on The Wog for just a second. This is what I saw when I turned around:

The Wog is a BIG fan of packing peanuts and luckily she has finally determined that they are not as tasty as they look.

The Wog has also, finally, began participating in the craft after weekly Story Time at the local library. By "participating" I mean eating crayons and tearing up little bits of construction paper.
