While we were in Baltimore, The Wog got her very first haircut. She didn't mind the cutting part, but the washing did not go over well.
She's officially a Big Girl! (To see her new 'do, check out "The Wog Gets Cultured" post below; we're a bit out of chronology here, but all caught up, I think...)

WOGISCH
THE WOG GETS CULTURED
CUTTING WOGLOOSE
The Wog loves to boogie, and has recently had multiple opportunities to show off her moves.
A few weekends ago we attended a contra dance. The Wog wanted to join in! Alas, she could not find a size-appropriate partner.
More recently we attended a local barn dance. She loved the band, and would have joined them on stage if she could have. The Wog did not stop moving the whole time. She kept venturing further toward the band then back to "home base" (me and The Wog's father), then further toward the band, then back to home base. After 20 minutes or so, she forgot all about home base and was all about the band and her newfound audience.
Here she is watching the band:
And here she is, headed to tag in at home base.

A BALTIWOG
We headed down to Baltimore for a quick visit with the Wog's friends Eva and Bee. We didn't take nearly enough pictures, but here's what we got! (I also took some accidental video of The Wog on the run which I will post when I relearn how...)
Bee looks in through the door of the crazy, perfect-for-a-rainy-day Chic-fil-A playroom.
Digging in the dirt, a favorite Wog past-time.

THE WILDWOG RIVER DUCK FESTIVAL
OLD WOGDONALD HAD A FARM
The Wog's playgroup took a field trip to a local working farm museum. Lots of animals to see! Unfortunately, I wasn't able to take very many pictures of The Wog, since both hands were occupied in the struggle of keeping her out of the animals' pens.
Here she and her friend Sage admire some chickens:
Desperately trying to lay hands on a sheep:
A Wog on the go!
Still going...

TWO NEW TRICKS
The Wog has kept us laughing with two new tricks recently. When we point the camera at her or ask her to smile, we get this response:
Apparently, this is her interpretation of posing for a picture.
Also, while her favorite word continues to be "No" and I have yet to actually hear a "Yes," from her, The Wog can on occasion be agreeable. I have a tendency to end my sentences with an "Okay?" or an abbreviated, "'Kay?" The Wog now responds in kind with an emphatic, "'Kay!"

YOU CAN TAKE THE WOG OUT OF JERSEY BUT YOU CAN'T TAKE THE JERSEY OUT OF THE WOG

I WOG THE LINE
BECAUSE EVERY DAY CAN'T BE THE WOG'S DAY....
Sometimes it's Mother's Day!
We went for our usual Mother's Day Brunch in NJ where The Wog had a chance to catch up with her Minnie, Aunt, Great-Aunt, and cousins.
Here's Peter, all loaded up and ready to go:
The Wog and John are very fond of each other:
Finding Aunt Mary Beth is like finding E.T. among all the stuffed animals:
Grammy, Minnie and the grandkids (one of whom was particularly squirmy that day; can you guess who?):

THE BIG RED DOG AND THE LITTLE BITTY WOG
While we were in NJ for Mother's Day (pictures to follow soon), The Wog met Clifford the Big Red Dog. She is fearless of furries, as evidenced by her recent meetings with the Easter Bunny and a giant duck (pictures also to follow.) She loves dogs. So a big red dog? Total delight!
Here she is, with her Minnie, trying to get some face-time with Clifford. Alas, he had other engagements.
