HAPPY BIRTHDAY, GRANDMA!

The Wog does her best, despite The Doodle's best interference:

Happy Birthday, Grandma! Thanks for all the delicious kibbe!

EVERYTHING'S BETTER DOWN WHERE THE WOG IS

I keep coming across pictures from our vacation that I haven't yet posted. Here are some from when The Wog met Ariel. She was smitten. So was The Wog:)

One of the cats from The Lion King float made friends with The Wog. (Thanks to Mims for making sure we had front row seats!)

Some more shots from the beach. If you can't tell, The Wog was very excited to be there.

Just arrived and barely containing her excitement:

On the way down the long, long beach with Eva:

Dipping in the toes:

The Doodle makes an appearance!

Not done yet; more on the way!

DOODLICIOUS!

The Doodle is happy it's his birthday month!

(I know it's common to smile with your eyes, but is it common to smile with your nose?)

FEEDING FRENZY!

Springtime means the fish are back...or at least the ducks. The pond was oddly absent of fish today (we're hoping we didn't manage to kill them off somehow last fall) but there was a solitary duck who enjoyed having the food all to himself. It's fun to watch how the differences in the girls' personalities emerge in even the smallest of things: free-spirited Polly immediately throws in all her food (then wonders where it all went and begs for more) while meditative Lily carefully parcels hers out to make the experience linger. Lucky for Polly, Lily was willing to share!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, DADDY!

Love,
The Wog (and The Doodle, too, but this one is from The Wog...he'll get his turn!)

BABIES IN BEACHLAND

Our little beach bum:

The Wog's father worked hard to get that kite going, but it never really did. The girls didn't mind.

ARIEL VS. BELLE SMACKDOWN

I wish I had better video of this, but it was chaos between all the eager little princesses and their camera-bearing kings and queens. (You might have to strain to find The Wog. Hint: she's the only mermaid in the bunch.)
